We don't like sounding like "Mum" and talking about all the legal stuff... but for both our own safety and yours, here are our policies:
Delivery Times: Most of our natural Custom Vintage products, all Steady, Bettie Page and Stop Staring clothing as listed on our site are available at time of order and will be delivered within 7 days depending on location. (unless item is sold to more than one person within a 12 hour period, in which case the first order received has priority) Lingerie and shoes can take between 1 - 4 weeks to arrive and Little Earth products may take up to 8 weeks as these items are subject to availability from the manufacturer, as they are each hand-made to order. Once your order has been received by us, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time/date and also if there are to be any delays in delivery, please contact us if you would like information on your order.
Returns/Exchanges: Clothing from Stop Staring! Bettie Page Clothing, Steady Clothing and shoes by Ellie may be returned and exchanged for different sizes on the condition that they are returned to us within 7 days and are in the same condition as they are sent out and pre-arranged by management, this includes having any tags still attached and no marks, stains or other sign of being worn, and still on hanger in bag where appropriate. We can not accept returns for other items of clothing such as lingerie and swimwear due to Hygenic and Health & Safety Laws. Size Charts are available on our site, and customers are more than welcome to enquire on sizing before purchasing. We do not offer refunds on any product except in exceptional circumstances when pre-arranged by management. All returns are for exchanges or store credit - ONLY
Damaged Goods: We ensure all breakable products are properly packaged in bubble wrap or other appropriate packaging to minimise any damage that may be caused during transit. We are not liable for damages during transit via post or courier and are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for breakages at this stage.
Allergic Reactions: All of our handmade products include labelling of every ingredient used, it is not our responsibility to check these labels for any product which may cause an allergic reaction to some people. If you are unsure on something, please contact us on info@customvintage.com.au prior to purchase/use and we will help you as best we can. Pregnant women should NOT use any product - ours or another, which contains essential oils. We recommend you seek the advice of your medical practitioner if there are any concerns or worries BEFORE you purchase from our natural range of products. We can usualy create a custom product with altered recipes to assist those with alergies etc. If you are interested in an alternative, please contact us.

Palm-Oil: Palm Oil is the greatest current threat to Orangutans. Vast areas of habitat are cleared for Palm Oil plantations every day. Protecting this land is critical to the Orangutans survival. This issue affects all of us with over 1 million kilogrammes of Palm Oil is imported into Australian each year. All Custom Vintage products are made without the use of palm oil!

"Travel Pack" Competition: Closed, Congratulations Ruth! All purchases of $20 and more (either online or in store) will give the customer an entry into the "Travel Pack Giveaway' competition per $20 purchase value, ie: purchase $20 worth and receive one entry, purchase $200 worth and receive 10 entries etc. Entries close at midnight on July 31st 2010 Eastern Standard Time (EST) and the winner will be drawn at random on August 1st. The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone and will have up to 7 days to confirm delivery address, failing confirmation within this time period a second chance draw will be conducted and someone else will then become the winner. The winner of this competition will be named on Facebook and on the Custom Vintage website on our policy page. Please notify Custom Vintage should you prefer your name is not mentioned, though this is done to show customers that Custom Vintage competitions are legitimate. The Custom Vintage Travel Pack is not redeemable for cash, refund, exchange or other. Advertising for the competition will take place via email, myspace, facebook and www.customvintage.com.au Custom Vintage takes no responsibility for damages, breakage or other issues arising from this competition due to third party misconduct or misuse of Custom Vintage products. During the competition period and up to 30 days after the draw, there will be no refunds, exchanges, store credits etc given to customers who made purchases based solely on gaining a chance to win the competition who wish to return goods after failing to win the said competition as this will be considered as fraudulent purchases and therefore not valid for returns.
