LAYBY TERMS & CONDITIONS: 

Custom Vintage offers the option to Layby purchases over a 6-8 week period. To select this option during checkout, simply follow all the directions to payment option and choose Layby as your payment method. We will then contact you via email with our Layby Agreement and payment options. The first payment (A 20% non-refundable deposit) will be required to be made within 2 days of receiving confirmation.

We have recently ammended our store policies according to past trial and error to cover both ourselves and our lovely customers, below are our new Standard Terms & Conditions for placing a Layby with our store. (They aren't that scary, just more effecient)

1.   A 20% non-refundable deposit must be paid within 3 days to secure your Layby Order. (within 3 days of our initial email with the agreement and order confirmation)

2.   All Layby's must be finalized within 6-8 weeks of ordering. Layby's valued up to and including $350 are to be paid within 6 weeks, Layby's over $350 are to be paid within 8 weeks. Layby's over the value of $500 have negotiable terms which must be agreed upon when placing the Layby by both parties (customer and Custom Vintage)

3.   Regular payments must be made on all Layby's (at least fortnightly), If you are unable to make a payment please let us know so we can still hold your Layby for you.

4.   Cancellation fees apply to cancelled Layby's to the value of 50% of the Layby total. Custom Vintage reserves the right to waiver the cancellation fee in exceptional circumstances based on individual customer situations.

5.   Should a customer be unable to continue to make Layby payments but still wish to purchase the order may apply for a suspension of their Layby in writing to Custom Vintage via email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or via mail to PO Box 747, Park Ridge, Qld 4125.  Custom Vintage reserves to right to reject an application for suspension and fees may apply for cancellations. Suspension fees (holding fee) may apply.

6.   Suspensions may be approved for up to a 6 month period, if at such time the Customer is still unable to continue Layby payments a cancellation fee will apply.

7.   Custom Vintage agrees to hold the prices of items purchased on Layby at the price advertised at the time of order.

8.   Standard returns policies apply to Layby orders with the exception of refunds, Custom Vintage does not offer refunds on Layby orders though under discretion of management for exceptional circumstances may opt to waiver this policy and grant a refund based on Individual circumstances.

9.   Custom Vintage will not alter the prices of items on Layby during Store sales or special offers.

10. Certain Sale items may not be available for Layby purchase, only if clearly stated on the product information page.
